Why do I need autoAstat?

What can get your account blocked/banned?
We may block access to your autoAstat account (and service) if we consider you to have violated or acted in conflict with our terms of service. In most cases, account blocks come from violation of Paragraph 7.2.

Why do you need to register?
Without registration, you can only use our service with restricted access. To use our advanced features, you’ll have to register for an account. Link for registration:

You can register for our service using your email; you may also register in a more streamlined manner via Facebook or Google account login. Link for registration:

Following registration, we will send a verification email to your account for activation. Once you receive the email, please confirm your account by clicking the included link.
Why didn’t I receive a verification email?
The verification email is sent to the email address that you provided during registration. If you register using your Facebook or Google account, the email will be sent to the email address linked to the aforementioned account. If you can’t find the email in your “Inbox” folder, we recommend that you check your “Spam” folder.
What if I forgot my password?

Click "Forgot password" and enter your email address. We will send you all of the instructions about password recovery to the email that you used for registration.
How do I change my password?
In your account, select the "Profile" menu and in the "Change Password" section enter your current password, then enter your new password and save.

Our Basic plan gives you access to the last 12 months’ worth of our database’s information. You also gain access to our VIN and Lot Number search features, as well as the ability to view photos and limited amounts of autoAstat-related information. This plan is free and is available instantly after registration.
Personal
Our Personal plan is the optimal plan for most customers who buy a couple of auction cars a year. With this plan, you will get all of the features of autoAstat’s service accompanied by the depth of two years’ worth of sales history. You can check the final selling price, sales history, HD photos, trim filters, and a ton more data. You can also get discounts on VIN reports with this plan. Pro
Our Pro plan is a must-have for professional buyers and those who make regular purchases at US or Canadian auto auctions. There is no limit on your access to our sales history. You can take full advantage of our full database, which has information dating back to 2017 onward. This plan comes with unlimited searches, no hidden periods, video downloads, HD photos, and 360 video tours. All of the information you could ever need on a vehicle is available, as well as additional tools for dealers and VIN reports of the lowest price/highest value. How long does each plan last for?
The Basic plan has an unlimited duration. Our Personal and Pro plans are available through monthly or annual billing.

Why do I have to pay for the service?
We are constantly improving the quality and speed of our service, which comes at a price. We have to cover the cost of development, hosting, and lots more. Therefore, the price on each plan is subject to change.
However, for all clients who have purchased a plan, the original price you paid does not change. You will receive our full service at its original locked price for the subscription’s duration.

How do I make a payment?
You need to be registered user of autoAstat.com, then choose your plan via this link: https://autoastat.com/en/pricing and use your bank card for payment.
What if I have a payment issue?
Make sure to check your card settings to the limit of online payments. 99% of the time, this is what prevents payments from going through. We check all of our systems on a daily basis. If our systems go down, we’ll be sure to notify you.

What is "My Balance"?
You can add funds to your balance and use it to pay for VIN reports and lot claims only.
Note: your balance cannot be used to pay for subscriptions.
I’ve added funds to my balance and want to apply them to the payment plan, though it does not work.
Unfortunately, this is not possible. Balance funds cannot be spent on subscriptions. You can pay for the plan via this link: https://autoastat.com/en/pricing and use your bank card for payment.
If necessary, we will refund your balance back to the payment method that was used. In order to receive a refund, you’ll have to email us at [email protected]
Please title the subject of the email “Balance Refund”.
You will have to request a refund within up to 14 working days after your purchase.
How do I continue my subscription plan?
Nothing needs to be done on your end. Our system will automatically charge a subscription fee after month period has ended. You can cancel subscription any time.
How can I cancel my subscription?

What if I want to continue subscription, but my card did not have enough funds?
In case of failure our system would try three (3) times in total to take the payment, if it won’t go through your subscription will end automatically. You can subscribe again via this link:
How do I change my payment method?
Select the "Payments" menu in your account, and click the "Update Card" button under the “Payment Card” section.
Why has my subscription expired?
If a payment is not made or fails, our system will automatically end your plan. To renew your subscription, please click this link to select a new plan:

Do you guys provide special tools for dealers?
We provide an assortment of dealer tools to professional auction buyers. The main advantage of our toolset is the ability to hide purchased lots from our site search (if you have the supporting documentation). With our Pro plan, you can get our full sales history and database, with information dating back to 2017 onward. Our Personal plan provides information from the last two years.

We respect the privacy rights of every person. Therefore, if you do not want your purchase information displayed, you can have this information hidden. You need to be registered on our website and use this link:
How do I search for vehicle info?
How do I find a vehicle in the database?
You can search for vehicles by VIN or lot number. You may also use our search to find vehicle type, make, model, or year, as well as tweak filters for mileage, trim seller type, cylinders, engine capacity, fuel type, and other parameters of your interest.
The vehicle I searched for in the database was “Not Found”.
This notice shows that information on the vehicle is not accessible from our database. We recommend using a VIN number to conduct your search. Double-check to make sure that your VIN number is correct.
VIN reports
You can order a vehicle report by VIN number and obtain a lot of useful information, including the following: vehicle specifications, auction records, mileage history, insurance records, accident/theft/recall records, and much more. To order a VIN report, you must be registered at autoAstat. Link to order the report:
“UNKNOWN” appears in the Lot Information tab
This means that we don’t have the information in our database that correlates with your inquiry. This data was not transferred to us due to auction failure. Information may appear in future updates, but may also not be available at auction.
This lot is “In Archive”
This means that this lot is out of the range of your subscription. Archived information dates back to over two years. Our Personal plan gives you the opportunity to access this back catalog, although nothing past two years worth of information. Our Pro plan gives you unlimited access to all lots in our database. You can purchase access to a single lot or subscribe to our Pro plan and get access to data all the way back from 2017.

What is a final bid?
This is the last registered public bid that was offered during the online auction. This price is what the buyer purchases the vehicle at the auction. In case lot is sold “On Approval” final price might different from the final bid. If you see price distortion on your vehicle please feel free to email us at [email protected]. Please provide lot number, original invoice from the auction.
What is the (%) of retail value?
Percentage of retail value details what amount was paid compared to the retail price of a similar used vehicle in the local US market. The lower the percentage, the better the deal is.
What is Fees?
Auction fees that were paid by the buyer. These fees are mandatory to each auction and are added to the final invoice.
What is Customs?
These are the payments that need to be paid when a car is imported to another country. This only applies if you export the car from the USA. You can choose your country and check all of your payments.
What is Bids?
Bids are the list of bids registered with the sale.
What is the repair value?
Repair value is the amount appraised by an insurance company to do repairs for a vehicle in the USA. Note: If the car is stolen, the “Repair Value” would be the full retail value of the vehicle. This is due to the insurance company having to pay out this value to the car’s previous owner. Furthermore, insurance companies may appraise repairs way too high. In this case, you would be able to fix the vehicle for much cheaper on your own.
What do the colors in the “Seller” field represent?
If the field is highlighted in green, it shows that the vehicle was sold by an insurance company. This is the trusted seller, as most cars up for auction are sold by insurance companies.
If the field is highlighted in orange, this is an indication that the car was sold or is being sold by a dealer or a rental/finance company. You might be potentially looking at a “staged car”. Look at the “Sales history” to identify whether a vehicle was previously sold at the auction. If not, we recommend you purchase a VIN report of your choice to check the car's detailed history before bidding.
How does the approval process work?
The auction has ended, and you need to wait for the seller’s response. The seller may accept the final bid, make a counter offer, or reject the bid.
As soon as the auction provides information stating that the vehicle has been sold, the information will be updated on our site automatically.
